Animale Restaurant

Makanannya enak enak. But beware ya. Semua yg kita order its abit rich in taste.
Kita order pork ear fries. Deepfried kayak. Kentang goreng, crunchy and chewy like calamari. Ada sauce nya jg. Super yummy. Ngga pernah liat yg kyk gini. 
Then i ordered snow crab black pasta. Chef recommendation is to mix tge fried crapcakes at the bottom with the pasta. And i did. Kinda regretted it. Ternyata its too rich with the sauce. Dont get me wrong. It was really good. But once mix, too rich still good. But next time ill order it aldente. Pasta was too overcooked. 
He ordered ibertico piggie.
Its was ok. Another sauce. All 3 dishes had similar sauce. Kinda like tomato pesto? Minta sea salt. I think its better with sea salt. However, the side sauce alone was good. Ada artichoke n sliced mushrooms in it.
The STAR!!! IZZZZZZ ooopss Cheese tart.
Presentation wise i was like what at least there should be some Raspberry drops, or ice-cream. However when you put it in your mouth, its something to die for. It has camembert taste to it, love loved it. Best with italian or french wine. Yummmmm.... I ordered another to go to indulge
We ordered Trottles too for our cocktail. Since i am a cognac whiskey girl. Loved it. Nice presentation as well. A strong drink

I ordered several dishes and my favorite is the bonemarrow. It tasted really good. I went to Animale with a friend so we had to share food. I feel like the portion is kinda small. I really want to have the bonemarrow all by myself since it’s so good! Hahaha. The oyster blade is ok, it’s nice but i think there are better steaks outhere, i also ordered truffle potatoes for side dish.

As for cheesetart, i think i dont really like. It’s overpriced for me. I heard many people really love the cheesetart, i think it’s not the same case for me. Maybe it’s not really my style. But overall, i enjoyed my lunch at Animale and of course i’d love to comeback for the bonemarrow and tried other dishes!

very nice ambiance disini, bikin betah banget.
buat makanannya tergolong enak, Wagyu foiegras unik banget, makannya diatas parmesan lavash supaya ada rasa kejunya. Untuk foiegrasnya ga gitu terasa, karena bentuknya pasta saus/mayo. Dan wagyunya itu irisan tipis dan raw. It's suprisingly good!

pork guanciale: sedikit terlalu asin. 


Dessertnya luar biasa nikmat bgt!
- Truffle Truffle ini unik.. dia chocolate truffle dengan truffle scent. ga perna nemuin ini dimana2. WAJIB COBA
- Oops cheestart: dessert yang paling iconic disini, creamy bold and moist. but too sweet.

Animale sebagai restoran pendatang baru yang tidak boleh dipandang sebelah mata. Beberapa waktu yang lalu sempat coba makan di sini dan berikut beberapa menu yang sudah dicoba:

Wagyu & Foie Gras - Appetizer yang menggugah selera banget! Wagyu dan Foie Gras nya berpadu serasi, ditambah dengan aroma truffle yang wangi, bikin ga sabar buat makan menu yang satu ini. Tekstur dagingnya sendiri juga lembut di mulut. Rekomen deh untuk dicoba!

Tiger Prawns - Menu yang tidak boleh dilewatkan buat pecinta udang. Puas loh makan satu tiger prawn ini. Porsi udangnya besar, rasanya juga fresh dengan bumbu yang meresap dan dimasak dengan kematangan yang pas. Dimakan berbarengan dengan acar timun langsung penuh akan rasa di dalam mulut.

Duck - Salah satu menu favorit lainnya ya daging bebek ini. Disajikan 2 macam, yaitu dada bebek fillet dan paha bebek. Rasa bumbunya sendiri sebenarnya cukup pedas, bikin nagih dan tekstur daging bebeknya sendiri juga sangat empuk.

Malloredus - Favorit banget deh sama menu satu ini. Pas pertama menu ini datang ke meja, aromanya tuh menggugah selera deh. Tambahan parmesan crusted bone marrow-nya bikin menu ini jadi makin asin, gurih, cheesy gitu. Tekstur pastanya sendiri agak chewy tapi ga masalah buat gw. Definitely worth to try!

Short Rib Tomahawk - Menu yang cocok buat share juga. Lihat aja penampakan dagingnya, cakep bener ya. Tekstur dagingnya sendiri juga empuk dan rasanya asin gurih tanpa dicocol ke saosnya juga ud enak. Namun, cobain juga deh makan dagingnya pake saos yang terbuat dari campuran green olives & smoked paprika. Enak! Terasa aroma smokey dari saosnya dengan perpaduan manis, gurih yang cocok disandingkan dengan daging steaknya.

Oops Cheesetart - Menu dessert favorit! Aduh ini cheesetart enak bener. Setiap suapan langsung terasa meleleh d dalam mulut. Rasanya ya tentu saja keju banget dan manisnya sendiri juga pas. Salah satu menu dessert yang wajib dicoba di Animale ini.

Truffle Truffle - Truffle Truffle ini menjadi salah satu dessert yang menarik minat karena penyajiannya yang cukup unik. Disajikan di dalam kotak dengan bebatuan berwarna putih (tidak bisa dimakan ya) membuat tampilan truffle truffle ini cukup kontras. Rasanya sendiri selain manis, ada juga rasa asin berkat sea salt caramel di dalamnya.

New restaurant in town, my first impression of ANIMALE looks - luxurious, earthy yet expensive (and yes it is!). Please do reservation in advance to avoid disappointment (open time: 5.30-10.30pm, and it's definitely a great place for having dinner with partner or friends). And please note that each reservation has time limit (2 hours max, like absteak so secure your place and use your time well!)

The service is great and attentive, they know their product really well. There's indoor and outdoor seating but definitely #indoorteam. I do have high expect for AB Groups. Let's start with their food!

From more to go around section, PORK CHOPS (395K) - tomahawks, smoked paprika, artichoke and champignon sauce. The pork chop comes in a big portion with exquisite looks, but sorry to say I expect more flavor from the pork itself, it's kinda bland. The sauce itself taste okay but more like indian curry rather than champignon and not as bold as I imagine before (6.5/10)

From #ditchyourboxedpasta section, MALLOREDUS (175K) - sage brown butter and truffle burro fuso, parmesan crusted bone marrow. Very familiar taste indeed and definitely the best dish for tonight. The pasta texture itself is unique, kinda chewy and looks like mac n cheese. That truffle - parmesan and bone marrow making this pasta to be an irresistible and savoury treat for the tastebuds! (10/10) 

From share the love section, FROG LEGS (120K) - buttermilk fried, smoked lobneh, spiced lime honey, celery. Great starter as the flavor combination is unique yet fresh. I hope the frog legs could be crunchier but overall nice one (thx for that sauce)! (8/10)

From rolled & baked section, TRUFFLE HUNTER (145K) - roasted mushroom puree, straciatella, roasted garlic, crispy sage and white truffle oil. I do have high expectation to that flatbread style pizzas. The smell is so truffly but somehow the cheese way too dominant (still searching for the strong truffle taste until the last bite), but it's quite good and eatable (7/10)

Last one -- From End it with a bang section, OOPS CHEESETART (110K) - molten center, camembert, gorgonzola. Highly recommended for the cheeselover, so creamy, rich in both texture and flavor, right amount of sweetness and cheese (as my friend didn't manage to eat more, so I end up to finished all of it) - but still sharing is caring, I won't be able to finish all by myself because it's super rich cheese lol (10/10) 

salah satu resto baru yang lagi hits sekarang!! kalau mau kesini, kalian wajib reservasi yaaa, karena dijamin full booked deh apalagi kalo weekend. resto ini cuma buka di sore hari sampai malem, jadi cucok banget buat dinner romantis gitu mereka punya 2 area yaitu outdoor dan indoor. outdoornya sebenernya cucok bangeeet, kalian bisa sekalian liat view kota jkt di malam hari, dan bisa banget buat chill gitu!! tapi sayangnya di outdoor lama kelamaan bakal berasa panas, mungkin harus pas malem banget supaya lebih adem. untuk indoornya, cantik bgt juga tempatnya. gak gitu gede, tapi full kaca jadi kalian bisa liat view jakarta. mereka juga ada konsep open kitchen, jadi bisa liat live chefnya masak pastaaa.
nah untuk makanannya, aku pesen beberapa menu mereka.
1. frog legs: ini konsepnya appetizer yaa. kodok goreng dengan fancy style hahaha kodoknya di goreng garing dengan tepung, dan dikasih bumbu spiced lime honey. kodoknya garing, tepungnya aja udah ada rasanya, bukan sekedar tepung hambar. nah untuk saos lime mereka yang berwarna putih, lebih ke arah asem, tapi gak asem banget sehingga kalau di campur dengan gurih dari kodoknya raasanya klop!
2. truffle hunter: pizza dengan mushroom pure serta telur yang di campur dengan truffle oil yang wangi bangeeeet, kebayang dong rasanya kayak apa rasa trufflenya bener-bener strong, yang suka truffle pasti puas banget dehh. dan pizzanya juga potongannya pas, gak ketipisan dan gak ketebelan. i like!!
3. malloredus: pasta dengan bone marrow yang bomb!! bone marrownya langsung di keluarkan dari tulang nya, jadi fresh banget yaaa. bone marrow di campur sama fresh pasta mereka yang udah di guyur dengan truffle oil, rasanya langsung klop. creamy dari sumsumnya buat pasta tersebut jadi semakin gurih. aku prefer ini untuk di sharing ya, karena rasa creamy nya mungkin akan buat beberapa orang akan enek kalo kebanyakan.
4. pork chops: pork chops ini bisa buat sharing! dengan saos smoked paprika dan jamur membuat rasa pork chop ini mirip sama makanan india. saos smoked paprika mereka sih, berempah gitu. meskipun potongannya besar, tapi dagingnya lembut dan gak dry.  
5. opps cheesetart: kalau kalian udah sekenyang apapun, harus tetep wajib pesen ini. cheesetart viral mereka ini lembut banget dan full cheeseeee. begitu masuk ke mulut, langsung meleleh. cheesecakenya creamy! ada rasa asin manis gurih deh lengkap
